Luka Couphène has a mixed personality of being playful, charming, mature, and flirtatious. He is empathetic at reading people's emotions and expressing them through music. Luka is very kind and generous, especially towards his friends and family, but also to people he just met.Moreover, Luka is excellent at playing guitar, violin, and similar musical instruments and seems to have a specialty for fingerstyle guitar. He is particularly good at creating melodies through people's emotions. His mastery with the instrument is due to his early exposure to it which was when he was only a baby.

Viperion's powers and costume come from the Kwami of Intuition, Sass.As a kwami, Sass can fly, levitate, and phase through solid objects. He can also carry objects that are larger and/or heavier than himself. But he, like other kwamis, cannot be photographed.Sass is able to transform the holder of the Snake Miraculous into a snake-themed superhero, with the power to go back to only one specific, previously marked time. The holder will also be able to remember every revised timeline.Unlike his holder, Sass, when he uses Second Chance, can go back to any previously marked time, no matter how much time has passed. However, doing so causes different moments in time to overlap with each other, causing objects, animals or people from the past to reappear at the present. It also disrupts objects and devices that use or measure the passage of time in order to function properly.

Jagged Stone is a popular rockstar who once left Luka and Juleka Couphène when they were just babies. For a long time, Jagged hides the fact that he is their father. But after confronted by Truth (akumatized version of Luka) and forced to spill the tea, he becomes more present in his children's life. He will often spend time with each of his children and buy them gifts quite often.As a person, Jagged is wild, proud, and expressive. When he isn't on-screen or performing, he is relaxed and natural. But he prefers exciting things, like owning a crocodile for a pet, and he likes getting lots of attention, especially from his fans, as long as they give him enough space. He gets bored if nothing interesting is going on, and he doesn't like losing attention. However, while he likes being noticed, he believes that the most important thing about music is expressing himself, not the fame and fortune that comes with it. He is usually kind toward others, even being quite patient with the people he truly likes, but if he feels like he is being wronged by someone, he stands up for his beliefs and isn't afraid to get into heated disagreements with them.

Anarka Couphène is the mother of Luka and Juleka Couphène.Anarka sounds and talks like a pirate as she believes that chaos and disorder can be a good thing. Despite this, she knows when they are not, such as not allowing a metallic statue anywhere near the boat's compass, knowing metal makes it go crazy and thus useless. She also believes in freedom, even naming her houseboat "Liberty".She raises Luka and Juleka as a single parent who does not really give them too many rules and doesn't allow them to clean up as they like the lived-in look.Anarka and Jagged used to play music together —even released an album titled "Croco Duo", but they got separated for some reason. She is bitter and snarky toward Jagged on daily basis. This is mostly due to the grudge she held against him.
